The printed AlumaJet image is spectacular but susceptible to moisture and abrasion and must therefore be protected.  The recommended way to protect the image is with a film overlaminate.  Flood coating or spray applied liquid laminates have also been used with success.

With lamination, the AlumaJet image becomes extremely durable and is suitable for indefinite indoor use.  With a UV resistant overlaminate and edge protection, AlumaJet is suitable for many outdoor applications as well for a period of 3-5 years.
