The AlumaJet Process

AlumaJet is ink jet printable aluminum. With AlumaJet you can print brilliant, full-color, high resolution images directly on bright anodized aluminum! With AlumaJet, your imagination is the limit and customized, one-of-a-kind type items that are inefficient and expensive to produce using other methods are now simple and affordable. The process is simple:

1. Create artwork using any software

2. Load AlumaJet Sheet into suitable ink jet printer and print. Recommended printers include:

a. Epson Stylus Pro 3800 and 3880 (Prints up to 16” wide)

b. Epson Stylus Pro 4880 (Prints up to 17” wide)

c. Epson Stylus Pro 7880 (Prints up to 24” wide)

3. Laminate to enhance durability of the printed AlumaJet image

4. Shear or otherwise fabricate the laminated sheet. Part is now ready for attachment or assembly.

Below is a short video that will allow you to view the basic AlumaJet process. Immediately beneath the video are step-by-step process descriptions. We invite you to watch and to refer to the steps that follow for additional information.
