AlumaMark is anodized aluminum that may be imaged or marked using virtually any CO₂ laser. Unique among laserable substrates, AlumaMark allows one to create black, positive marks on silver, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, gold, bronze or brass backgrounds. The process is simple:

1. Create artwork using appropriate software
2. Place or Locate AlumaMark sheet on to the bed of the laser and print.
3. Shear and/or otherwise fabricate the sheet to create a finished part. Part is now ready for attachment, mounting or assembly.

Laser Settings Guidelines

The following settings have been used with success by our customers. They are provided as a starting point only. Since no two lasers are exactly alike, some experimenting to find your optimal settings will be necessary for the best results.

Below is a short video that will allow you to view the basic AlumaMark process.  Immediately beneath the video are step-by-step process descriptions.  We invite you to watch and to refer to the steps that follow for additional information.

		Step 1: Create artwork in any commercially available graphics software program.
		Step 2: Place sheet of AlumaMark in bed of your CO2 laser and print. The laser beam creates the mark or image.
		Step 3: Shear or otherwise fabricate and the printed sheet and is now ready for attachment or mounting with the result being a spectacular finished part!
