Department of Defense (DoD) UID Policy

Department of Defense UID policy requires placement of a 2D data matrix bar code on all DoD acquisition items costing more than $5,000.  Also covered by the mandate are embedded items, serially managed components and sub-assemblies, items deemed to be mission critical and items that are spared or repaired by the DoD.

Why Metalphoto?
